Heading out of Las Vegas, I changed my plans to ride to Reno, then Lake Tahoe, Grants Pass and home. Halfway to Reno, I turned west, traveling straight toward Yosemity National Pak. On approach to Lee Vining, California, the eastern entrance to Yosemite, I came upon Mono Lake.
