This very sweet girl played for us for our entire boat excursion. She is playing the Erhu, which is a traditional instrument of the Chinese Opera. Her playing was beautiful, even when she played If you're happy and you know it, Clap Your Hands
Our guide brought along paper boats, and little candles. While we floated around the lake, we were encouraged to light a candle in each little boat and float it on the lake, while we made a wish. The longer the boat floated and the flame continued to burn, the more likely our wishes would come true. I wished for our luggage to arrive.
